Our name is new, our inspectors are not. Inspection Services LLC was formed in 2021 by a group of highly experienced home inspection professionals to support the home inspection community.

Mission: Provide home inspectors with an expanded and streamlined list of services for the residential real estate community.

Vision: Support home inspectors.

Culture/Core Values:

We are an inspection company and nothing else.

We do not perform routine maintenance or repairs in order to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest. This means we do not clean sewers, we do not clean chimneys, we do not install radon mitigation systems, etc. We are 100% impartial and unbiased.

We work directly with home inspectors to offer these inspection services to home buyers and homeowners.

Radon Testing

All of our radon technicians are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health. We offer 46-48 hour radon testing, and our reports include graphs of hour-by-hour radon levels, atmospheric pressure, humidity, and temperature. This information is included to help ensure accuracy and to minimize the potential for undetected tampering.

Sewer Inspections

Our sewer inspections division is led by Brad Huston, who is also the owner of Guy’s Sewer & Drain. Brad has been in the sewer and drain cleaning business since 2012.

We use high-end Ridgid cameras for our sewer inspections, we take full video recordings, and we produce sewer inspection reports with images of any concern or problem areas found during the video inspection. Our reports are sent out the same day or before 8 am the following day.

Chimney Inspections

Our chimney inspections division is led by Scott Mahley, who is certified by the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA). All of our chimney inspectors are CSIA Certified Chimney Sweeps.

We offer level 2 chimney inspections, which include a camera inspection of the interior of the chimney flue. We produce chimney inspection reports with images of any concern or problem areas.

Mold Inspections

Our Mold Division Manager, Neil Saltzman, is a Council-certified Residential Mold Inspector (CRMI). Neil has been in the construction industry since 1971, and has been testing for mold since 2007.

Intrusive Moisture Testing

Our lead moisture technician is Antonio Cedillo. Antonio has conducted thousands of these inspections since 1998, making him one of the most experienced intrusive moisture inspectors in Minnesota. All of our intrusive moisture inspectors are certified by the Exterior Design Institute

Intrusive Wood Foundation Inspections

Our Intrusive Wood Foundation Inspections are conducted by George Ury, ASHI Certified Inspector. George is passionate about homes and has been lucky enough to turn that passion into a career.

We start by sending a form to the seller, asking for permission to remove the baseboard trim and put holes in the drywall in various locations of our choosing. We also use deep wall probes in many locations, but getting a look at stained foundation walls and feeling wet insulation in the walls always removes any potential doubt about the presence of moisture, or the accuracy of our testing equipment.
